DIRTY RICHMOND

Where the city is dirty but the people are not

After sharing very exciting life changing news, Dekota and I had to go to our favorite frozen yogurt cafe to celebrate! It took me a long time to try Verry Berry, but when I finally went a few months ago, I was hooked. The first time I went, the only two things I could think were “Wow! this is amazing!” and “How depressing my life must have been before this moment.” Right before we ate our frozen yogurt, we talked about how nice it was to do something fun and silly every now and then…

There are many flavors to choose, but vanilla, strawberry, and cake batter are my favorites. Dekota went for brownies and cookies on the bottom, and then covering them with a bunch of vanilla.

Verry Berry charges by the weight of the container, and it is SO HARD not to go over board when decorating a masterpiece. All the toppings you can think of are available: chocolate syrup, cherries, Oreos, fresh fruit, walnuts, gummy bears, sprinkles…

I wish I wasn’t kidding about this being last night’s dinner, but I suppose that isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

Katie is my favorite person to see during my Verry Berry visits. She runs their twitter, where she gives announcements of frozen deals and other promotions. Also, I think it is important to share that she is responsible for making this beautiful apron.

Verry Berry is located at 1311 West Broad Street and at new location in the West End. Not only do they sell frozen yogurt, they offer coffee, bubble tea, and smoothies.

Dekota loves Verry Berry so much, that he even made a video about it.

And if you don’t get enough of Dekota on Dirty Richmond, you should check out his blog, garconnoir.blogspot.com.
